Dr. Peter Morabito and Victor

Victor assists Peter with walking and provides stability. Victor has been trained for counter-balancing -- if Peter should start falling forward, Victor pulls backwards. Victor has also been trained to tap Peter's foot if he becomes stuck in a Parkinson's freeze. The touch of Victor's paw is the cue that breaks the freeze and gets Peter walking again. If Peter should fall, Victor will stand and brace in front of him and Peter
will pull himself back up to a standing position.
